Right from the beginning, Schwabe India manufacturing facility has been open to the students and practitioners to visit from all over the country. Every year, thousands of students visit the factory as part of their educational programme. This year, recently students from Howrah (WB) and Hyderabad (AP) had visited. A glimpse on this is given under current news.

In continuation of our provings series, this issue covers a recent proving by David Riley in association with Deutsche Homöopathie-Union (DHU), homoeopathic division of Dr. Willmar Schwabe, Germany. Complete materia medica is given including the new symptoms.

Indian herbs have been gaining momentum in the international research. Among many drugs used in cardiac diseases, Terminalia arjuna has unique place. It is an official drug covered Homoeopathic Pharmacopoeia of India. Pollution is increasing and hence respiratory allergies are also increasing. There is a considerable increase in the pie of allergic children among the total paediatric cases in general practice. We have come across interesting research articles this time. A study with mother tinctures and ultra-dilutions of three homoeopathic medicines had tested the anti-proliferative effects of cancer cells. Long term treatment of homoeopathic medicines on ADHD is reported in another study. An interesting fundamental homoeopathic research of dielectric dispersion studies conducted in a broad range with potencies below and above the Avogadro limit has also been reported. One more last study is about a nosode preparation of flu virus, which was conducted in vitro, preclinical and clinical set up.
