Triumphant Conclusion: Mumbai-Based Motorist Team’s Unique Healing with Homeopathy Campaign

A motorist team led by a homeopathic doctor from Mumbai has successfully concluded the ground breaking “Heal with Homeopathy” campaign, which took place from July 23, 2022. The campaign covered a challenging route spanning Mumbai, Amritsar, Srinagar, Kargil, Ladakh, Leh, Chandigarh, and back to Mumbai, traversing some of the highest locations on their bikes. This pioneering campaign holds the distinction of being the world’s first homeopathy initiative conducted in such demanding circumstances, exploring breathtaking landscapes. The team expresses heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support and well wishes received, contributing to the resounding success of the campaign. Duboisia mypoproides

A member of the Solanaceae family. A tall glabrous shrub or small tree, flowers, axillary clusters, white with two-lipped calyx; corolla, funnel-shaped; limb, five parted; five stamens within the corolla (two long and two short); one rudimentary ovary, too many-ovalled compartments, and fruit berry-like; leaves, inodorous and bitter retain taste.

It is native to eastern Australia, Papua, New Guinea and New Caledonia.

It contains alkaloidal sulphates, mainly hyoscyamine and hyoscine.

Its homoeopathic mother tincture is prepared from the leaves. It is covered by Homoeopathic Pharmacopoeia of India as well as Homoeopathic Pharmacopoeia of United States. It was proved by Norris.

It is used for treating motion sickness, stomach disorders, and the side effects of cancer therapy.  It has affinity towards nervous system, eyes and upper respiratory tract. It is recommended in atrophic pharyngitis (pharyngitis sicca), with black, stringy mucus. Tincture and the alkaloid are reported to be used in paralysis and eye affections. On the eye it acts more promptly than Atropia, much stronger as a mydriatic. It is useful in red spots floats in the field of vision. It is serviceable in sensation as if stepping on empty space, vertigo with pale face. In Scarlet fever; locomotor ataxiait is serviceable. Used as palliative in exophthalmic goitre. It is antidoted by coffee and lemon-juice.

Recommended dose: Third to twelfth potency, MT in drop dose.
