Mind: Always concerned about her future destiny, which she fancies will be wretched. Irritable. Imagining that thieves are hidden behind the curtains; but does not dare to look for them, and begs some one else to do. Sadness always. Hypochondriac person. Anxiety on waking.

Head: Heaviness of the head slight on waking. Heaviness in the head at times becoming very severe especially on lowering and raising the head. Heaviness of the head, worse in the morning than in the evening. Heaviness of the head, in the morning. Head feels heavy; she can hardly hold it up Sensation, when stooping, as if the brain were leaping in the skull. Headache at noon Headache aggravated by the smell of alcohol, and disappearing. Confusion of the head especially the forehead are confused as during a coryza on all the afternoon.

Ears: Whizzing in the left ear. Ringing in the ears as if she were going to faint.

Nose: Sneezing when going upstairs. Sneezing repeats all the time. Sneezing, followed by a slight cough, every day for four days. Bleeding from nose in the morning.

Face: Face pale and bloodless, much swollen, particularly about the eyelids, and having a dull languid expression. On left cheek, half way between the mouth and angle of the jaw, there was a portion of integument of the size of a half-crown piece, dark, pulpy and exhaling a fetid smell. Face and head enormously swollen.

Mouth: Tongue very red. Breath horrible and fetid. Breath fetid. Swelling of the mucous membrane of the internal alveolar border of both incisors, and the left canine tooth. The mucous membrane of the palate feels as if coming off in different places. Clammy mouth in the morning and night. Mouth dry. Dry mouth with tearing sensation in the chest, at Taste. Taste of raw potatoes, in the morning. Teeth loose and extremely painful.

Throat: Mucus accumulates in the throat, and seems to cover its whole anterior portion Inflammation of the throat; she cannot swallow her saliva, in the evening. Salt taste in the throat. Great difficulty in swallowing.

Stomach: Increased appetite. Canine hunger at dinner. Great desire for coffee. Loss of thirst.

Stool: Large hard stool, in small pieces. Hard, knotty, and difficult stools.

Extremities: Joints swollen and very painful. Sense of weariness in all the limbs on waking. Inclination to stretch the limbs

Sleep: Drowsiness with early waking in the morning. Great drowsiness Invincible drowsiness. Starting during sleep. Wakes very early, since the third day. Wakes early in the morning.
