Biocombination No.12 is used in the management of headaches caused due to congestion, a rush of blood to the head, neuralgia, nervousness due to constant worries, depression, sleeplessness, or a low-functioning liver. Headaches from tension, anxiety, stress, nervousness, sleeplessness, liver complaints, and indigestion. It is also effective in headaches due to anemia, alcoholism, hypertension, eyestrain, nasal catarrh, sinusitis, local lesions of the brain, cerebral tumors, abscesses, or meningitis.

It should be taken as 4 tablets for adults, and 2 tablets for children, at a time, four times a day at intervals of three hours or as otherwise prescribed by the physician.

Biocombination No.12 is the combination of important homeopathic medicines such as Ferrum phosphoricum, Kali phosphoricum, Magnesium phosphoricum, and Natrum muriaticum. Ferrum phosphoricum is indicated in headaches where the head feels sore to touch, cold, from noise and jar, a rush of blood to the head, ill effects of sun-heat, throbbing sensation, vertigo, and better from cold applications. Kali phosphoricum is indicated in occipital headache, better after rising, vertigo from lying, standing up, from sitting, and when looking upwards, cerebral anemia, the headache of students who are worn out by fatigue, relieved by gentle motion, weary empty gone feeling at the stomach. Magnesium phosphoricum is indicated in headaches after mental labor with chilliness always better warmth, vertigo on moving falls forward on closing eyes, better walking in open air, and sensation as if contents were liquid as if parts of the brain were changing places. Natrum muriaticum is indicated in blinding headaches, as if a thousand little hammers were knocking on the brain, in the morning on awakening, after menstruation, from sunrise to sunset, throbbing in nature, and anaemic headaches of school girls who are nervous, discouraged and broken down. The headache is chronic in nature, semi-lateral, congestive, from sunrise to sunset, with a pale face, nausea, vomiting, periodical, from eye strain, menstrual accompanied by numbness and tingling in lips, tongue, and nose relieved by sleep. The frontal sinus is inflamed.
