Hypertension: A Lifestyle Disorder

Hypertension is considered to be a lifestyle disorder. Your blood pressure responds to your daily activities like diet, sleep, stress, etc. With the rise in childhood obesity, lack of exercise and poor diet, the age at which the problem of hypertension begins has gotten younger. Secondary Hypertension:
Secondary hypertension is because of an underlying condition. When the underlying condition is treated well, the blood pressure returns back to normal.
Pregnancy-Related Hypertension:
Pregnancy-related hypertension may occur in a pregnant woman who already has a predisposition to hypertension.
There are various risk factors that affect the hypertension. Some of these factors can be managed while the others cannot.
