The head and scalp are bathed in sweat, and a greenish, offensive diarrhea is present. The gums are red and tender. These symptoms can easily be treated with Chamomilla.
Belladonna
Belladonna suits both the febrile condition and the nervous erethism. It is especially indicated by its cerebral hyperemia, high fever, and tendency to convulsions, violent starting, and jumping, red face etc. Belladonna acts promptly for these symptoms.
Calcarea carbonica
Slowness in teething, with convulsions, or opposite state, where children teethe too rapidly, can be treated with this. The gums get pale and shiny and teeth take a long time in coming through. It is recommended for those children who have Calcarea characteristics present.
Calcarea phosphorica
It suits especially emaciated, rachitic children with open fontanelles, who are slow in teething and whose teeth decay rapidly. There is an actual deficiency of bone tissue. An occasional dose of Calcarea phosphorica will prevent these troubles.
Kreosote
It is an excellent teething remedy for very painful and difficult dentition. The gums become spongy and painful, when erupted, show marks of decay on them.
