It produces dryness of the mouth, checks skin secretions, dilates the pupil of the eye, quickens the pulse and slows and weakens the heart contractions. It also produces profuse salivation. There is slight faintness and nausea. It is a remedy for cough and inflammation of the bronchus. It produces inflammation of nose with frontal headache.
Skin: There is redness of skin with papular, vesicular and pustular eruptions which is aggravated in wet weather.
