Arsenicum album is a very effective medicine in eczema, psoriasis, ulcers and gangrenous inflammation. It is indicated in dry eczema which presents as itching, burning, swellings, edema, eruption, papular, dry, rough, scaly, worse cold and scratching. Causticum Hahnemanni is indicated in persons whose skin is dirty white sallow, with warts, especially on the face. There is soreness in folds of skin, back of ears, between thighs, with warts on tips of fingers and nose. Sulphur is indicated in skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis and acne, in case of eczema the skin is dry, scaly, and unhealthy, every little injury suppurates, freckles, itching, and burning, which is worse from scratching and washing. The eruptions are pimply, pustules, rhagades, hang-nails, excoriation in folds of skin, after local application worse during summer. Graphites has a special affinity for skin, producing skin diseases, the tendency to erysipelas, eczema of eyelids, cracking behind the ears, moist eruptions, scabs and fissures in nostrils, nipples sore cracked and blistered. The skin is rough, hard, with persistent dryness, pimples and acne, eruptions oozing out a sticky discharge, and rawness in the bends of limbs, groins, neck and behind the ears. Mercurius solubilis Hahnemanni is indicated in wet eczema, where the skin is constantly moist, excessive odorous viscid perspiration, vesicular and pustules eruptions, pimples around the main eruption, itching worse from the warmth of bed, yellowish-brown crusts and considerable suppuration.
