Ficus indica MTÂ possesses a great anti-haemorrhagic properties. It is used in case of haemorrhage from throat or mouth due to any cause when the colour of blood is pure red; haemorrhage before any evacuation; bloody leucorrhoea etc. Its milky juice is applied externally for pain, in rheumatism and lumbago. It is antibacterial, relaxant and spasmodic on smooth muscles and haemostatic.
