Colocynthis LM is fifty Millesimal potency prepared from the Homoeopathic remedy Colocynthis which is obtained from herb Colocynthis. Its common name is bitter cucumber. It is helpful in various complaints like dysentery, dysmenorrhoea, affection of ovaries, rheumatism, sciatica, etc.

It is indicated for menstrual troubles and abdominal complaints with neuralgic pains and cramps, twitching and shortening of muscles and constrictions and contractions of muscles and sphincters. The neuralgic pains are nearly always relieved by pressure. Urinous odor of perspiration. Agonizing pain in abdomen, causing patient to bend double, is most characteristic.

It is to be taken as an internal medicine. Please note that the dosage of single homoeopathic medicines varies from drug to drug depending upon the condition, age, sensitivity and other things. It is normally suggested by homoeopathic physicians to dissolve a few small poppy size globules /pills in some water and to be taken as 1-2 teaspoon 2-3 times or even more oftener daily.
