Alpha-MP is used in the treatment of muscular pain and joint complaints. It is indicated for tearing pains in the tendons and ligaments. It covers pain from a bruise , detachment of muscles from bones, weariness and weakness. It is effective in relieving muscular soreness and trembling of the limbs due to weakness. It also helps in treating gout and urticaria.

In acute condition, 10-20 drops to be given for every hour, which is gradually reduced to 10-20 drops three times a day as the improvement sets in. If it’s not better consult a physician.

Alpha-MP is specially formulated for the treatment of muscular pain which is composed of five important homoeopathic remedies like Rhus toxicodendron, Bryonia alba, Filipendula ulmaria, Cimicifuga racemosa and Urticaria urens. Rhus toxicodendron is indicated in tearing pains in tendons and ligaments with irresistible desire to move or change the position, followed by relief for a short time. The symptoms are aggravated by exertion, after fatigue and getting wet and cold. Bryonia alba is helpful in pain as from a bruise, or of subcutaneous ulceration, or as if the flesh is detached from the bones, dragging with pressure on the perisoteum. General weakness and weariness especially in the morning, or walking in the open air. Filipendula ulmaria is useful in conditions of heaviness of lower limbs on ascending steps, exhaustion with stretching and yawning. Cimicifuga racemosa covers aching limbs, excessive muscular soreness, uneasy feeling in limbs causing restlessness, weakness, trembling and spasmodic action of the muscles. General bruised and sore feeling. Urtica urens is a specific remedy for gout and urticaria nodosa.
