Acidum boracicum CH

Acidum Boracicum is also known as hydrogen borate, boric acid, and orthoboric acid. Its chemical formula is H3BO3. It is often used as an insecticide, retardant of flame, antiseptic, or precursor of many other chemical substances.

In homeopathy Acidum Boracicum is used to treat conditions such as hot flushes, sepsis, affections of eyes, impetigo, whitlow, renal colic, and wounds.

The characteristic symptoms are:-

• In climacteric flushing, there is a characteristic sensation of vagina cold as if packed with ice.

• Extensive exfoliating dermatitis and multiform erythema of upper extremities and trunk. 

• Renal colic with pain along the ureters with frequent desire to pass urine.

• The coldness of saliva.

• Odema around the eyes.

• Most of the complaints are characteristically better while the patient is walking in the open air.
