Viscum Pentarkan is the combination of five important homoeopathic remedies such as Arnica montana, Cratageus oxyacantha, Plumbum aceticum, Secale cornutum and Viscum album. Arnica montana is widely used medicine for injuries, haemorrhages, conclusions and blood disorders. It is also a remedy for heart conditions like angina pectoris, fatty heart and hypertrophy, symptoms of hypertension such as feeble, irregular pulse, extremities distended, feel bruised and sore, sleepless and restless, anxious and terrible, chronic vertigo, nervous, whole body over sensitive and muscular pains.

Cratageus oxyacantha is indicated in chronic heart diseases, arteriosclerosis, myocarditis, and increased pressure in blood vessels due to calcareous deposits. It produces giddiness, lowered pulse, irregularity of pulse, insomnia, cutaneous chillness, high arterial tension, irritability, very nervous, headache, backache, irregular breathing, pressure in the chest region, indigestion, mental illness and all symptoms aggravated by exertion and excitement. Plumbum aceticum is indicated in aneurysms, colic, constipation, dysuria, headache, numbness, hypertension, hypertrophy of the heart, indigestion, weakness, abdomen distended, breathing difficulty, nervousness, mental dullness, restlessness, sleeplessness and mental exertion.

Secale cornutum is a remedy for hypertension and angina pectoris, and produces difficulty in breathing, oppression in the chest, precordial tenderness, palpitation, contracted and intermittent pulse, sleep is disturbed with restlessness, fever, anxious dreams, trembling and staggering gait, numbness, violent cramps, congestive headache with a nosebleed, pupils dilated, face pale and sunken, and all these are better by cold and worse from heat, warm covering.

Viscum album is indicated in hypertension and hypotension. The blood vessels are dilated. The pulse is slow. It is indicated in hypertensive albuminuria, valvular disease, persistent vertigo, double vision, buzzing in the ear, stertorous breathing, hypertrophy of the heart, palpitation during coitus, oppression in the chest, feeling as if a hand were squeezing the heart and tickling sensation in the heart.
