Mimosa humilis CH

Mimosa is a remedy which has its main action on bones and joints. It is indicated in chronic rheumatic affections. It especially affects the ankle joint. It produces notable lancinations in the back and limbs.

Head: There is sensation of heat in head and as if enlarged.

Eyes: There is inflammation of eyes especially left side with itching. The vision is dim with halo.

Ears: Whizzing sound in the ears.

Mouth: Gums are bleeding with profuse salivation.

Back: There is violent lancinations in the back.

Limbs: Violent lancinations in the legs and arms.

Upper limbs: twitching of arm extending to chest. There is numbness of the arm and right hand. The left hand is swollen.

Lower limbs: legs are trembling. Knees are weak and stiff. Left ankle is swollen with redness tension and lancination.

In some cases they are given as regular doses as 3-5 drops 2-3 times a day whereas in other cases they are given only once in a week, month or even in a longer period.
