Marrubium vulgare (Marrubium album) CH

This remedy is of great importance in the respiratory diseases and it acts as an expectorant. It has the property to relax the bronchus and stimulates mucus secretion. It is also indicated chronic cough which is very violent and it is very useful in asthma. This remedy has very marked action in gall bladder stimulating the bile secretion and the bile flow. It is given in cases of jaundice. It promotes the wound healing. It also induces menses in case of amenorrhea. This remedy is beneficial in case of indigestion by relieving pain, promoting good digestion, reducing bloating of abdomen and improving the appetite. It also lowers the blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels and is also an antispasmodic. It is used in cases of parasitic infestation by killing the parasite. It often relieves nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.
