This remedy acts well on smooth muscles especially of heart and blood vessels. There is a sensation of constrictions as if from an iron band accompanying the symptoms. Haemorrhage, spasmodic pains, constrictions and periodicity are the marked features of this remedy. It favours formation of clotting easily and hence stops bleeding.
Head: It is indicated for right sided headache with sensation of weight on vertex. Congestive periodical headche with pulsating pain, feels as if head were compressed in a vise.
