BIOPLASGEN/BIOCOMBINATION 6 COUGH, COLD & CATARRH
Indications: Cold in the head, acute catarrh, rattling hollow cough, painful respiration, pain in chest & bronchitis.
Cough may be voluntary or as a result of reflex action due to irrigation in any part of respiratory mucous membrane. It may be dry, loose and spasmodic.

NOTE: This medicine does not cover cough in bronchial carcinoma, pulmonary tuberculosis and cardiac asthma.
Composition: Ferrum phosphoricum 3x, Kalium muriaticum 3x, Magnesium phosphoricum 3x, Natrum muriaticum 6x, and Natrum sulphuricum 3x, in equal proportion.
Proven indications of the ingredients within the claimed sphere of action:

Ferrum phosphoricum: It is indicated in the first stage of inflammatory affection, congestion of lungs, short painful tickling cough, croup, dry hard cough, hoarseness & headache due to cold. Initial febrile conditions are also covered by this medicine.

Kalium muriaticum: It is indicated for loud, noisy cough, acute & spasmodic, rattling & whooping cough; mucus tenacious & white.
Magnesium phosphoricum: It is an antispasmodic medicine covering neuralgic pains and cough problems of neuralgic origin. Asthmatic oppression of chest, spasmodic cough, whooping cough, voice hoarse, larynx sore and raw. It helps in intercostal neuralgia.
Natrum muriaticum: It is indicated for cold and cough accompanied by headache, chest pain, shortness of breath. To some extent, it is helpful in whooping cough as well.
Natrum sulphuricum: It is indicated for difficult breathing and must hold chest when coughing. Humid asthma, rattling in early morning – cough, thick ropy & greenish.

Alcohol: There is no reported safety concern if it is taken with alcohol.
Pregnancy: It is safe to take during pregnancy.
Driving: It is safe to use during driving.
Breastfeeding/Lactation: It can be used while breastfeeding.
Kidney: There is no known contraindication with kidney diseases.
Liver: It is safe for the liver.
Sugar: It does not affect blood sugar levels.
High blood pressure/Hypertension: It is safe to use in patients with hypertension.
Low blood pressure: It will not lower the blood pressure.
Heart: It does not contain any ingredient which will affect the heart.
Mentally retarded: There is no known contraindication with mentally retarded persons.

Diarrhea: It will not cause any diarrhea.

Biocombination No.06 is prepared from the combination of Ferrum phosphoricum, Magnesium phosphoricum, Natrum muriaticum, Kali sulphuricum, and Kali muriaticum. Ferrum phosphoricum is indicated in the first stages of colds in the head, predisposition to colds, the first stage of all inflammatory affections, congestion of lungs, short tickling cough, croup, and the expectoration of pure blood in pneumonia. Magnesium phosphoricum is indicated in asthmatic oppression of the chest, dry tickling, spasmodic cough, difficulty in lying down, whooping cough, hoarseness of voice, soreness of the larynx, and intercostal neuralgia.
Natrum muriaticum is indicated in violent fluent coryza lasting from one to three days, stoppage of nose, breathing difficulty, discharge thin and watery like raw white of egg, violent sneezing, loss of smell, and internal soreness of nose. The cough is accompanied by stitches in the liver, tickling in the pit of the stomach, bursting pain in the head, shortness of breath, and whooping cough. Kali muriaticum is a remedy for catarrh with phlegm white and thick, stuffy cold, pharynx covered with adherent crusts, asthma with gastric derangements, mucus white and hard to cough up, and whooping cough. The expectoration is thick and white, with rattling sounds and tenacious mucus in the bronchi. Kali sulphuricum is a remedy indicated in colds, obstruction of the nose, loss of smell, enlargement of the nasal mucous membranes, mouth breathing and the discharge is yellow and slimy. The chest is congested and rattling with mucus, cough with yellow expectoration, and bronchial asthma.

I had cough from several days and was taking some alopathy syrup which did not help out.
