It has been a greatly satisfying and successful year for Schwabe India with the inauguration of a new warehouse by none other than the Honourable Minister of AYUSH, Mr. Shripad Yesso Naik. The event was a huge success with the attendance of renowned guests like Dr. R K Manchanda, Director General-CCRH, Dr. GVK Joseph, Director-HPL, Dr. Naval Kumar, the Honorary Advisor to the Minister. Schwabe India has always been providing free medical and health care to the public through free camps and free consultations at the first chance. As it has done in the past years, this year too our company had participated and provided their medical aid and support in the prestigious India International Trade Fair with overwhelming response from the people. Continuing the trend, Schwabe India had conducted CME program at Kochi with eminent homoeopaths. The details of these three events are covered under the current news section along with this years’ students’ industrial visit to Schwabe India which was as impressive as with the previous years.
Aegle marmelos and Nyctanthes arbortristis are the two drugs that have been discussed under the section of proving and clinical verification. The combined material medica of existing updated with new data provided by CCRH, India has also been taken into account.
Trichosanthes dioica, Sterculia accuminata and Spartium scoparium are the three new and rare remedies, explored in the Mother tincture section. All these drugs are included under Homoeopathic Pharmacopoeia of India. Of these Trichochosanthes dioica is been used in intermittent fevers and is reported to have hypoglycaemic properties, Sterculia accuminata is used as a nervine, anti-depressant and heart tonic due to its action on central nervous system and muscles and Spartium scoparium has been reported to have diuretic and anti-haemorrhagic properties.
For this issue, Product watch has taken up Crataegus Pentarkan, Senega Pentarkan and Topi Cantharis cream for consideration. These three products are scientifically tested and of assured quality and has given marked results with proper guidance from the physicians.
