Triumphant Conclusion: Mumbai-Based Motorist Team’s Unique Healing with Homeopathy Campaign

A motorist team led by a homeopathic doctor from Mumbai has successfully concluded the ground breaking “Heal with Homeopathy” campaign, which took place from July 23, 2022. The campaign covered a challenging route spanning Mumbai, Amritsar, Srinagar, Kargil, Ladakh, Leh, Chandigarh, and back to Mumbai, traversing some of the highest locations on their bikes. This pioneering campaign holds the distinction of being the world’s first homeopathy initiative conducted in such demanding circumstances, exploring breathtaking landscapes. The team expresses heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support and well wishes received, contributing to the resounding success of the campaign. The campaign’s social media posts were widely shared, spreading awareness about the power of homeopathy.

Ficus religiosa

Ficus religiosa is a species native to the Indian subcontinent, south-west China and Indochina. It is also known as the bodhi tree or peepal tree. It was first proved by Dr. S. C. Ghose. It was first introduced in homoeopathy in 1903. To elicit its elaborated symptoms further, Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH), an autonomous body under Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, had conducted a multi-centre placebo controlled proving and published in Indian Journal of Research in Homoeopathy Vol. 2, No. 3, July-September 2008. Objective of the proving was to assess the pharmacodynamic response of this drug. The drug was proved at the Drug Proving Research Units (H) located at Kolkata (W.B.), Ghaziabad (U.P.) and Midnapore (W.B.) during 2003-04. Ficus religiosa in 30C and 200C potencies were procured from M/s. Dr. Willmar Schwabe India Pvt. Ltd., India, in 100 ml. sealed phial of each dilution. There were 24 volunteers of 18-50 years of age. The drug was also clinically evaluated earlier. Combined materia medica from this proving and other literatures like S. C. Ghose has been presented below.

 

Mind

Patients were angered on trifles and contradiction.

Vertigo

It has developed vertigo which gets worse in morning on opening eyes, on rising from bed, and relieved by taking rest. Patients also complaints vertigo gets worse after long standing.

Head

It has property to cure headache and heaviness with coryza and pain in throat. Person may complaint for bursting pain in eye ball during headache which gets worse by walking, cold water and relived by pressure and hot application. Right sided headache and heaviness and difficulty in concentration while studying and worse from light. Bursting frontal headache which gets worse by eating, masturbation, night, and relieved by sleep, tight bandage may narrated by patient. Throbbing pain in forehead with nausea may get worse by studying and relieved after sleep, in open air. Pain in occipital region goes to temporal region, worse by stooping, morning, ameliorated by hot application.

Eye

Bursting pain in eyeballs, may associated with headache which worsen by walking. Stye on lower eyelid with throbbing pain and redness of eyeball, relived by warm application.

Nose

It has coryza, sneezing with heaviness in whole head. Coryza with severe sneezing and running nose, watery discharge get worse in evening.

Mouth

Salivation from mouth, worsen by after meal, spicy food. Ulcers on tongue; tongue swollen, painful, get worse by taking warm things. Rawness in throat with great thirst. It has property to cure ulceration inside the mouth, right side of upper jaw, redness, rawness with swelling. Burning sensation, in mouth get worse by touch, swallowing, drinking cold water, and spicy food. Sensation as if whole mouth is burnt.

Throat

Pain in throat with dryness and rawness.

Abdomen

Pain in abdomen with loosed stool after taking food. Distension of abdomen from accumulation of gas gets worse after spicy food. Pain in lower abdomen with nausea, worsen in morning.

Rectum

Constipation is associated with headache, and vertigo. Person complaints for burning sensation in anus after passing stool, ameliorated by cold application.

Stool

Stool large, dry. Loose watery stool aggravated in the morning, waking up, after taking milk products. Stool mixed with mucus and pain in abdomen, worse from taking food.

Male

Desire to masturbate.

Female

Menorrhagia, blood bright red, profuse. Bearing down pain in the lower abdomen. Bleeding from other orifices.

Cough

Long standing dry cough worsen in morning, evening, while speaking and ameliorated by drinking cold water. Cough with thin, white loose expectoration.

Extremities

Pain in joints of lower extremities, sensation as if broken down, gets worse in morning, relieved by lying down. Pain in left hip extending to whole foot worse in evening Stitching pain in thighs, calves, relieved by pressure. Sleep Sleepiness, drowsiness with pain in lower extremities.

Fever

High fever with coryza, aggravated in morning. Feverish feeling with heaviness of head and vertigo.

Generalities

Bodyache, worse in morning, cold air, relieved by warm drinks, warm application. Great dullness, drowsiness with pain in long bones. General weakness. Malaise with pain in left hip and foot.
