Schwabe India is awarded Alternative Medicine Brand of the Year 2014

Schwabe India, the Indian arm of Schwabe Group, world’s largest manufacturer of homoeopathic and phyto medicines, has been awarded "Alternative Medicine Brand of the Year". It was conferred at the India Health & Wellness Summit & Awards 2014 by Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak of Sulabh International, in the August presence of Minister of Ayush Mr. Shripad Naik. It was bestowed to Schwabe India’s consistent and tireless efforts for public awareness through their brand in the field of alternative medicine in India.

India Health & Wellness Summit & Awards 2014, an initiative by, was jointly presented by Hero Cycles and Yes Bank. It was the first summit held in such a grand scale. The summit was attended by who's who of Health care and wellness industry and chaired by Ayush Minister. It was held at the Hotel Hyatt Regency in New Delhi on 20th December 2014. The auditorium was packed with around 500 wellness and health care partners.

Schwabe products have been available in India since the beginning of 20th century. In fact the first order from India was raised over a century back. The growing Indian market for Schwabe products necessitated to establishment of a manufacturing facility in India with the aim to provide standard quality products at affordable Indian prices.
