Dr. Schuessler, a German physician developed the Biochemic Therapy, based on the discovery that the natural activity of the cell depends on a standard amount of inorganic salts. According to Dr. Schuessler, any variation in normal amount of inorganic nutritive salts, especially a deficiency of these salts was the cause of a disease. Consequently his therapy consisted of compensating the deficiency of these inorganic salts through their medicinal counterparts.
